I feel the need to rant right now, about people’s inability to make simple decisions.
Someone who is brand new to internet marketing wanted to know more about MOBE (My Online Business Education).
He starts asking me about MTTB … the same usual questions.
- “How does it work?”
- “What will I be learning in the steps?”
- “Are there other things you’ve got to buy?”
- “How much money can I make with it each week?”
Many of the questions he’s asking are actually answered on the main sales letter (which I showed him and walked him through.)
For the other questions, they are answered inside the actual course itself and can also be answered by his personal coach (which all MTTB clients get) who will be working with him 1-on-1.
I told him the course is only $49.
If he goes through the entire thing and doesn’t like it, he can refund it.
He’s been considering this decision for quite some time I can tell.
Again, I tell him it’s $49. And it’s refundable.
We are not talking about a $50,000 investment here … or a $10,000 one … or even a $100 one.
He’s still thinking about it.
I’m busy and starting to get a little impatient, so I ask him to make a decision right there and then.
What he decides is not important to me—I just want him to make up his mind.
And that’s when he tells me he needs to go home and think about it.
I politely thank him for his time … and he goes home.
Here’s the truth: It’s not the $49 I cared about. And it’s not about the $500 of my time that has been wasted.
What really bothers me in this case, is that even after this person had all the information they could ever need to make the decision he was incapable of making a decision.
A $49 decision!
If he’d just told me he’s not interested—I would have respected that. MTTB is not for everyone.
Just make the decision.
I don’t mean to sound cruel—this guy is probably a good guy … and good on him for doing his due diligence.
But my advice to someone like this is to give some serious consideration to even getting started as an entrepreneur.
Because in this world, you are on your own—and you are faced with making decisions all day long (no boss is going to make them for you) …
… Some are small, $49 decisions.
Others are decisions that have 5 or 6 figure price tags riding on them.
It’s the big decisions that count and can make you the big money—you have to get through all the small decisions fast and without too much hesitation to get to them.
The whole point of this post is not to sell MTTB (though I highly recommend you buy it.)
It doesn’t matter to me whether you go with MTTB or some other marketing system.
What matters is you make the decision to start.
At worst, you’ll spend some time discovering it’s not for you. No big deal.
At best, it will completely and radically change your life in ways you can’t even imagine right now.
When I purchased MTTB, I gathered the information required to make an informed decision. Once I had some information, I made the decision to start.
I didn’t have all the answers, but figured I could learn them as I went.
And it’s making that decision that is key.
